Standard KL-460 and KL-600 models cover most SMT curing needs — but some applications require a tailored approach. S&M engineers custom curing oven configurations for unique PCB dimensions, UV curing requirements, multi-zone profiles, and integrated line setups.
Custom Configuration Options
Non-Standard PCB Dimensions
PCBs wider than 600mm or with unusual aspect ratios may require a custom conveyor width, tunnel height, or entrance/exit configuration. We can engineer to your board specifications.
UV Curing Integration
For UV-activated adhesives and conformal coatings, we can integrate UV lamp arrays into the curing system. UV + thermal hybrid configurations available for dual-cure materials.
Multi-Zone Temperature Profiles
Applications requiring complex ramp-soak-cure profiles benefit from additional heating zones. Custom zone counts and lengths available to match demanding material specs.
Nitrogen or Inert Atmosphere
Oxygen-sensitive materials — certain underfills, specialty adhesives, or high-reliability coatings — may require an inert atmosphere during curing. Nitrogen-blanketed tunnel configurations available.
Integrated Line Solutions
We can design curing ovens to integrate directly with your existing conveyor system, upstream dispensing equipment, or downstream wave soldering machines for a seamless inline process.
Special Temperature Ranges
Applications requiring curing above 300°C or at very low temperatures (below 50°C) can be accommodated with custom heating element configurations and insulation.
