PCB Flux Sprayer FT-450
Automatic flux application for PCBs up to 450mm wide. Ultrasonic or pneumatic spray atomization for uniform, consistent flux coverage before wave soldering.
FT-450
Product Overview
The FT-450 is Sun & Mountain’s compact automated PCB flux sprayer, designed to integrate directly into wave soldering lines handling PCBs up to 450mm wide. It replaces manual or semi-automatic flux application with a fully automated inline process — delivering consistent, repeatable flux deposits on every board, every cycle.
The FT-450 supports both ultrasonic and pneumatic spray methods. Ultrasonic atomization produces a finer, more uniform mist with lower flux consumption; pneumatic spray is more suited to higher-viscosity flux formulations. Both methods are compatible with all major flux types: water-soluble, no-clean, and traditional rosin-based.
Key Highlights
- 450mm max PCB width — matches SA-350 and SA-450 wave soldering machines
- Ultrasonic or pneumatic spray — selectable atomization for different flux viscosities
- All flux types supported — water-soluble, no-clean, rosin-based
- 400kg compact design — lightweight and easy to position inline
- Adjustable conveyor speed — synchronizes with upstream and downstream equipment
- Repeatable coverage — eliminates variability from manual flux application

Who Is the FT-450 For?
✅ Best For
- Pre-wave soldering flux application for PCBs up to 450mm wide
- Lines running SA-350 or SA-450 wave soldering machines
- Replacing manual flux application for consistent, repeatable coverage
- Operations using water-soluble, no-clean, or rosin flux
- Compact production floors where footprint matters
🔄 FT-450 vs FT-610
- PCB width: FT-450 handles up to 450mm; FT-610 handles up to 610mm
- Size & weight: FT-450 is more compact (1300mm wide, 400kg) vs FT-610 (1480mm wide, 600kg)
- Cost: FT-450 is the lower-cost option for narrower board lines
- Choose FT-610 if your PCBs exceed 450mm or you’re pairing with an SA-610
